What's driving Climate Change
CO2 emissions are the main cause
The term 'greenhouse effect' refers to the way infrared radiation from the earth is unable to escape our atmosphere.
The infrared radiation from the earth is the reflection of solar radiation off of the earth. With the increase of greenhouse gasses in the earth's atmosphere, more of that radiation is becoming trapped in our atmosphere.
This increase in retention of radiation is heating the earth, causing global warming. The primary greenhouse gas responsible for this is CO2.
