About Us

Established in 2006, Sustainable Cards is a wooden card manufacturer that specializes in providing the most environmentally friendly cards for nearly all traditional plastic card applications, including hotel key cards, as well as gift, loyalty, membership, identity cards, badges and even business cards.

We’re passionate about what we do and doing our part to reduce the millions of tons of PVC sent to landfills each year.

We offer three types of wooden cards, each representing different benefits and levels of sustainability, reusability and durability. Our cards are made from birch wood principally sourced from Scandinavian veneer producers certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. Finished cards for European and North American clients are punched, printed and personalized in our plant in Hede, Sweden. Very large finished card orders are sometimes fulfilled in part or whole by our card manufacturer partners in the U.S. and Europe, using our patent-pending veneers.

To learn more about how you can use wooden cards in your business, contact us at our world headquarters in Boulder, Colorado, or at our offices in Sweden and Denmark.
